Satire or Truth

The Internet and its rolling terrains are full of sites dedicated to bringing you news and information of all sorts – right-wing news, left-wing news, Way Way Out There news, and everything between…and then there are the fake news sites. These are sites that are meant to inform you, and trick you at the same time. And as every SubGenius knows, a good prank is worth it for the Slack you get. This section is especially for links to “fake news” and “satire” sites, of which there are many online. The best ones are the ones that are so close to reality, you can't tell if they're real or fake!

Buffalo Beast

  • Half news, half satire…and it's up to you to decide which is which.

Cracked Magazine

  • After decades of existing as an imitator and competitor to MAD magazine, the Internet revolution proved to be a Godsend for Cracked magazine. Taking bulldada to the limit, this site is a must-visit for anyone!

  • While it looks like one of the most whacked-out and insane religious news sites around, it's actually one of the deadliest and most accurate satire news sites on the Internet.

The Colbert Report

  • The hottest and nastiest political commentary TV show on the air today, thanks to the truthiness and revelations of Stephen Colbert.

Untrue Lies

  • Fake news stories based on reality…or are they fake?
